"Though she be but little, she is fierce!" - Shakespeare I am a biomedical engineer with a focus in mechanical design and user-experience design. I believe that biomedical engineers are the translators between the engineering and the medical world. From learning how to speak the languages of Entrepreneurship, Clinical Medicine and Regulatory Strategy in the UC Berkeley-UCSF Master of Translational Medicine Program to speaking Design and Empathy as a designer and engineer, I have been provided the tools to become well-versed and tackle today's problems in healthcare. I've love to share with you my journey in learning these different languages.
When I'm not working on projects, I am always open to discovering new talents and new places. I consider myself a maker of many things. When I'm not tinkering with hardware, I'm making cakes, music, and strategic dances on the rock wall. Since I've been out on the west coast, I've been fortunate to have the opportunities to explore many of this country's beautiful natural parks and to become a better climber. When I'm not exploring, I'm typically found searching for hidden gems in the city or embarking upon gastronomical adventures in my kitchen. I'm also an active member in the tech, healthcare and design communities. |
