Can we redesign the snowboard boot to prevent Snowboarder's Ankle?

Rapid Prototyping

Snowboarder's Ankle is a fracture of the lateral process of the talus mostly due to high vertical falls and heavy impact after landing an aerial maneuver or jump. In order to take precautions to Snowboarder's Ankle, this research project focused on seeing if we can redistribute pressure along the food by using custom insoles in a snowboard boot.
