  • Can we create a simple and easy-to-understand animation to demonstrate to potential stakeholders how our device will treat Short Bowel Syndrome?

xT3ND is a medical device startup with breakthrough technology to dramatically reduce the costs of Short Bowel Syndrome.  As Chief Technical Officer at xT3ND, I worked on a regulatory strategy to find the best way to get our product to the market as an orphan product. We participated in the UC Berkeley Bplan Competition in 2013 where we had the opportunity to pitch our product to a panel of life science venture capitalists and were placed as semi-finalists. Some of the challenges of the project was to convince venture capitalists that our device would be impacting a significant portion of the pediatric population.
